Cartridge Filters Cartridge filters are the simplest and most economical option, with no valve or filter medium required. They are compact, easy to use, and environmentally friendly since they don’t waste water or chemicals through backwashing.

•Cartridge lifespan: 3–4 years •Cleaning: Remove and hose out dirt, with a chemical soak 3 times a year to remove oils and sunscreen. •Filtration efficiency: 10–12 microns •Environmental benefits: No backwashing, so no water loss or soak wells needed.

Maintenance tip: The larger the cartridge, the longer you can go between cleans. Using a Multicyclone Pre-Filter will further extend cleaning intervals.
